We are (cautiously) thrilled to announce the re-opening of Trundle Manor for tours! 

Bookings start April 13- please refer to our main page for all of our rules and conditions.

Basically: 

-Masks are to be worn at all times 

-NO touching anything 

-Groups of no more than 5 people 

-NO bathroom for customers (sorry!)

-We do have top-of-the-line air purifiers for your safety, as well as a hand sanitizer station.

TEMPORARILY CLOSED FOR TOURS

We appreciate that people want to get out of their houses and are flattered that they want to get into ours. However, since Trundle Manor is our house we are taking advanced precautions and halting tours for quite some time.

We don’t know when we are resuming,

we aren’t taking advanced appointments,

and absolutely do not show up at our door expecting more than for us to release the tigers on you.

Face Masks Now Available in our Etsy Shop!

Velda has been working on new cotton reversible face masks with one side in the much-coveted black cotton, the other in various Halloween prints. The design includes a side pocket, one filter each, and a channel at the top to insert a nose wire. Bandana style, easy to cover beards or tuck into collars. Limited supplies but new styles coming soon!

Still Closed For Tours But Please Visit Our Gift Shop!

Dearest Trundlephiles!

In our unending homebody bliss, we completely forgot to ever post on our official website about being closed for tours due to Covid and all that has come with it. Good job staying at home and being safe, and we do welcome the idea of a day when we can once again safely welcome you into our Odd Abode and show off!

However we are still CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE FOR TOURS. We do ask that if you find yourself inexplicably drawn to our front porch, please refrain from touching anything and send us a message online instead.

We do very much appreciate the continued interest in tours and are working on a few ideas on how to still connect with all of you and stay entertaining. Rest assured, Mr Arm and Velda are both doing well and healthy and working on all sorts of nefarious projects, as well as wandering the darkened corridors in vintage evening wear, swilling absinthe and watching Vincent Price movies, as you’d expect.

The good news is that our Etsy store is up and running like never before, and Velda has been toiling away in her attic lair, crafting many delightful items for our gift shop. Good evening Trundlefiles,

    As the new year begins to trample our backs like the honey slathered pig that it is, we begin to contemplate how the future shall burden us. Will we survive the foibles of the technology which has allowed those seeking wonder to find us? Will people still seek out enough knowledge to make tours possible?

    We are are awoken by a fear that only comes from those who would rather not disturb a teaming mass, as well as by a doorbell rung by an unknowing few who had not seen this website. 

    For those who have found us: thank you! We greatly appreciate your search! For those who find google first and tell me it doesn’t say anything about tours by appointment on our website: please dig deeper, and no you may not just open our door and walk in to have an impromptu "look around". 

   We know the world is changing and getting more difficult to find people like us who don’t pay to advertise anywhere, but that makes us think it’s all the better for those who do get tours. We are a challenge, and we appreciate all those who make it through our rotting doorway. 

    All of this to say: "Trundle Manor is a by appointment only household."

What is Your Halloween Going to Be?

It's not going to be spending it at Trundle Manor!

Our household is spending this Halloween enjoying our time together.  This is the first year without Little Devil and we will be shutting down until November to celebrate his life.  We regret that this may mean we won't be able to provide tours to those in town for a short time but hopefully those who live close or plan on visiting Pittsburgh again will find us in the future!

We will have someone to hand out big candy bars on Halloween evening and allowing people in to wander for a bit so maybe come peep then!

For those of you looking for an escape room: do not call us. Mr Arm has worked for a local room but Trundle Manor is NOT an escape room itself. We lead a guided tour of our collection. 

Trundle Manor Movie Night!

Posted a little late perhaps, but here’s our summer movie night schedule, curated by Velda herself and chock full of vintage horror weirdness. First movie starts at 8pm, second at 10pm, followed by Rocky Horror (or a surprise!) at midnight! BYOB and snacks always welcome, free popcorn and weirdo conversation!

Trundle Manor Movie Night!

We are incredibly proud to announce the 2018 Movie Night season! One Friday a month this summer, we’ll be screening a hand-picked Double Feature chosen by Velda herself and featuring trivia and commentary from the Video Vixens of our very own Trundlecast! 

Movies will be shown in our parlor so seating will be first come first served and BYOB and costumes always encouraged! Free popcorn and Trundle Film Appreciation badges will also be on hand!

NO TOURS APRIL 2nd-9th!!!

We’re sorry to say that the beginning of April will be a bit less tour-centric than we would like. We’re working hard to make The Manor great and that takes time. Please make sure to book AFTER the 9th. 

Trundle Christmas Party!

Santon is getting ready for a small Trundle Manor Christmas party with friends on Saturday the 6th of January! Unfortunately that means no tours for that weekend BUT if you are around Saturday at 8pm, you see this special message, and bring something interesting for the gift giving game you can join us!

Happy After Halloween!!!!

It's finally winding down.  The Halloween season is evolving into the miresome evil of winter and our costume parties are coming to a close.  It will always be in our twisted little hearts, but the world is moving on.  Here is a short 360 video of our good friend Dangle spinning a flaming hammer from his willy (you can't see it) to entertain the masses at our 2017 Halloween party!  Enjoy!

It’s that time again folks! This year The Manor has decided to keep taking tours all the way up until now! We will not be booking anything for the week of Halloween, so don’t even try it. From now until after our party we will not even answer contact forms. Crappy right? Guess you should have gotten to us sooner. 

We’re not complete grumps though; if you want to stop by on the evening of the 31st; feel free to have a few drinks with us, hand out candy, and watch some Vincent Price movies! That’s right! Spend the high holy day for weirdos with us! This isn’t our party but we can make it fun! Don’t show up before 7 though. We need our prep time. Hope to see you then!
